Facilities Hire

Not only does Stanground College cater 1600 pupils, there are a wide range of facilities that are available for the local community ( adults and children ) to come and use outside the school day.

On offer are "Pay and Play" activities, membership, and courses and there are also areas that can be hired out for specific activities or events.

As specialist sports college, there are a wide range of sporting facilities situated in the sports centre within in the school, which are open to the community through both membership and 'Pay and Play' schemes to try and cater for as many people's needs as possible.

Large Hall

Description	can be used for a number of activities, from dance and martial arts to concerts and weddings, it can hold up to 300 people. It is available to hire throughout the year in the evenings and at the weekends.
Price	£30.00 per hour

Small Hall

Decription	can be used for a number of activities, from dance and martial arts to concerts and weddings, it can hold up to 80 people. It is available to hire throughout the year in the evenings and at the weekends.
Price	£20.00 per hour

Gymnasium

Description	The gymnasium is a traditional gymnasium containing gymnastic equipment. It has a sprung wooden floor. It is suitable for many different activities.

Conference Room

Description	Conference Room – is available to hire throughout the day and evening 7 days a week. It is complete with TV, Video, Flipchart, OHP, screen and tea and coffee making facilities. It can be used for small meetings or larger courses / training and is able to hold 25 people boardroom style or up to 60 people theatre style. Due to its location in the Sports Centre, it is ideal for running training courses and we are able to offer packages including use of our leisure facilities for people attending meetings or training.

Sports Hall

Description	Is a 4 court hall with a sprung wooden floor, which is suitable for gymnastics, dance and all impact sports. It contains: • A full sized basket ball court with sprung loaded hoops • Two cricket netts • Four marked badminton courts • Netball court • 5-a-side football pitch • volleyball court • tennis court It is ideal for an informal training session, league games, or maybe a children’s birthday party. Currently the college is home to a number of teams and clubs and hold many competitions here on their behalf. Half Sports Hall – not available with cricket netts

Pool

Description	Splash away! Our swimming pool is 18 metres long by 7 metres, is heated and is sanitised with chlorine. The chemical levels are tightly managed and recorded daily.

Description	Is only available for hire in conjunction with another space when the college is closed
