Key
Stage 3
Students
study two lesson per week throughout the year.
One
of these is a core lesson in which the students
design and make resistant materials products.
For
the second lesson of the week the students study
one of the other 3 specialisms i.e. Graphics/ICT,
Textiles Products and Food Technology for term
each.
Homework
is set for each specialism which equates to 10
homework tasks per term.
Key
Stage 4
Technology
is a core GCSE subject that all students study.Technology
at Key Stage 4 is taught for 2 hours each week.
The exam syllabus currently followed is OCR.
The
students chose which specialism they wish to
study for the 2 years.

Key
Stage
We
offer AS/A2 Courses in Design and Technology
(Graphics Products) and Design and Technology
(Textiles Products). We currently follow the
EDEXCEL specification. As with all AS/A2 Courses
students study for 5 hours each week. Staff
are available for extra curricular sessions for
Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 students.
