Tutorial Support

You will be a member of a small tutor group. With your tutor you will negotiate your personal timetable, review progress and discuss other important aspects of personal development during individual tutorial consultation.

1. AS levels / A2 levels

  • Students will normally study 4 subjects at AS level in Year 12.
  • Most will continue with 3 subjects at A2 level in year 13. Some may study 1 or 2 other subjects at AS level.

Equivalent to 2 ‘A’ levels.

Business Health & Social Care Information Technology
Performance Studies (Single Award)

All two-year students will study General Studies AS/A2

ONE-YEAR COURSES

Students can select one of the following programmes:


1. GNVQ INTERMEDIATE
This is a vocational qualification equivalent to 4 A-C GCSE’s. The following options are on offer:

Art & Design Business
Information Technology


2. GCSE:
The following two subjects are available:

  • English Language
  • Mathematics


3. CACHE Level 2 – Certificate in Child Care and Education

All one-year students will also study Key skills - application of number, communication and IT and receive a qualification for these.

Whilst we hope that all the courses described in this booklet will take place, they are subject to the constraints of staffing, finance and student demand.
